Frequently Asked Questions about our Fertility Products

I’ve been receiving tons of questions about the Wisdom of the Womb Fertility Products, so decided to create a go-to page where you can check to see if your question is answered.

I’ve created this list of questions and answers  that I wanted to share with you and hopefully, whether you choose to purchase the products or not, some of the answers will help support in your journey to fertility.
There are so many ways to support your reproductive health, so be sure to take a peek at my other blogs as well, as there more in-depth answers to some questions there.

  • How many servings is 2 oz of the Tea?

I recommend using about ½  tbsp of tea in each serving, and to drink 1 cup twice daily (2 cups a day) so the 2 oz of loose leaf should give you approximately 12 days worth of tea.

  • How much comes with the 30 day supply?

The 30 day supply is 5 oz of loose leaf tea. I recommend using ½ tbsp per serving, and have a cup of tea twice a day.

  • How often do I drink it?

The tea is most effective when you drink it 2-3 times a day, 1 cup per serving. The longer you steep the tea, the stronger it will taste, but the more effective the herbs will be as well.

The tea tastes floral and herbal. There is some peppermint and lemon balm in it, which lends a sweet-ish flavor, as well as goji berries and pomegranate. So it’s a bit minty, a bit fruity and a bit sweet. I think it’s delicious.

  • Does it have caffeine in it?

There’s not actually any “tea” in the tea. It’s an herbal blend, so there’s no caffeine in any of my teas except for the Morning Rooster, which is for Male Reproductive Health and has some green tea in it.

  • When is the best time to take it?

It’s best to drink in the morning and before bed, ideally on an empty stomach, but it’s okay if you have a small amount of food with the tea. The herbs are absorbed and digested, so if you have a ton of food to digest as well, you may not really absorb the components of the herbs.

  • When, during my cycle, should I drink the tea?

If you’re just drinking the Fertile Mama Tea, you can drink it for the entire cycle, no matter where in your cycle you are. For all teas, drink 1 cup 2-3 times a day.
However, if you’re “cycling” with the teas, here’s what to do:

  1. Detox Tea: Detox for 10 days up to a full month, leading up to your period starting.
  2. B*tch’s Brew: Start drinking the day you start bleeding (If you tend to have cramps, you can start drinking this blend when your cramps start, or up to 10 days before your period begins)
  3. Fertile Mama Tea: Begin drinking when your period ends, or the day after you stop bleeding (the follicular phase)
  4. Fertile Moon Tea: Drink around ovulation time, or approximately days 12-16.
  5. Womb Warming Tea: Supports implantation and progesterone. Drink Days 17 on… either until you get a positive pregnancy test or your period begins again. If you do tend to cramp, drink until 7-10 days before your period, and then switch to B*tch’s Brew and drink through next period or until you get a positive pregnancy test.
  • How long will this take to work? How does the tea work?
This can be a tricky question to answer, so I will just answer with as much information as possible. I have had women drink the tea for one cycle and get pregnant. Perhaps whatever imbalance that was contributing to their difficulty conceiving was minor.

I usually tell women to drink the tea for at least 3 months, as that is how long it takes to improve the quality of their eggs (not just my tea — that’s how long the eggs take to get healthier).

The Fertile Mama Tea (and all my teas) work by gently unraveling the imbalances in your body that can be contributing to a difficulty conceiving. Specifically, this tea nourishes the blood, boosts the qi/ energy, gently detoxifies the liver so that hormones are more balanced, helps to regulate blood sugar, eases stress response to that cortisol release is more balanced, gently clears heat and mildly invigorates the blood.

For many women, drinking this tea regularly is enough to bring the body into a place where conception happens. Where the body is not working so hard on “living” and digesting, etc, that it can add the additional difficult task of being pregnant.

However, for some women, as in the cases of endometriosis or PCOS, fallopian tube blockage, etc., the imbalances are too far progressed to reverse gently. This is when my slightly stronger herbal blends become more important. The B*tch’s Brew Tea, for instance, is my most invigorating tea, which is why it is indicated when there are bad cramps, endometriosis, blockage, or even serious emotional PMS… those are all signs that there is more intense stagnation and blockage that must be moved.

So… I’d love to say that the tea will work the first month that you drink it, but every body is different, and it really depends on your body.

  • I’ve been breaking out on the Womb Warming Tea. Is this normal?

This is actually really good information that lets us know that you may have some heat in your body that needs to be cleared. If this is the case, omit the Womb Warming Tea from your schedule, drink the Fertile Moon Tea until about 10 days before your period begins, and then switch to the B*tch’s Brew instead.

  • I have some cramping when I drink the tea. Is this okay?

This is actually a good sign! When there’s pain, it means there’s stagnation or blockage of energy, and when you begin to move through stagnation or blockage, you can get some cramping. So if you are cramping a bit, it means that you’re moving through some energy that had been blocked. This may be what had been preventing pregnancy in the first place!

  • How do I prepare it?

Use your tea strainer to scoop up about ½ tbsp of the tea. Put the filled tea-strainer in your favorite cup, pour almost boiling water over it, and let steep for 2-5 minutes. The longer you steep it, the stronger the flavor will be. Remove tea strainer, and let cool until it’s not too hot to drink. Enjoy!

  • What happens if my husband accidentally drinks it?

Not a problem! The herbs included will probably benefit him too, so he can enjoy with you if he likes it! But if he’s looking for his own tea to support his fertility, Morning Rooster would be the better choice.

  • Can I prepare it as iced tea?

You can, but one of the most important “rules” about supporting your fertility is to keep your womb warm. This means keeping your digestive organs warm too. So it’s important not to have iced beverages. Drink room temperature or warmer. And avoid all iced-drinks while you’re trying to conceive.

  • Will this work to reverse my tubal ligation?

Unfortunately, if you’ve had your “tubes tied” surgically, the ingredients in the tea are not strong enough to reverse your surgery. Sorry!

  • Will this help unblock my fallopian tubes?

It is possible to support clearing natural obstruction of the fallopian tubes, caused either by scarring, Pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, etc. I recommend the products in the Fallopian Tube Bundle, including B*tch’s Brew Tea, Moxa, Womb massage and more. The Womb massage and moxa are essential in this instance, so be sure to watch my tutorials on YouTube.

  • Will this help if I have PCOS?

The products in my PCOS bundle are more effective for working with the specific imbalances that contribute to PCOS.

  • Will this help if I have Endometriosis/ Fibroids?

The products in my Endometriosis/ Fibroid bundle are more effective for working with the specific imbalances that contribute to PCOS.

  • Will this help if my husband’s fertility is the issue?

I recommend my Male Fertility bundle or any of the products contained within, which are more specifically formulated to positively impact male reproductive health, including sperm motility, morphology and count.

  • I was diagnosed with Early Menopause, or am having hot flashes and night sweats.
The Wise Woman Tea is a good option for you.

  • Can I just drink the tea and not do anything else and still get pregnant?
Maybe. It’s possible. But because our reproductive health is an extension of overall health, it is important to live a healthy lifestyle. My 6 week course shows you how and where to remove toxins from your home and diet, lifestyle and dietary choices that best support fertility, etc. It’s extremely important to womb health to be gently moving your body (brisk walks and yoga are great exercise choices), eating whole foods (as close to “real” food as possible — fruits, vegetables, organic animal protein if you choose, healthy fats like olives, nuts, seeds, avocado). When people ask me what they should be eating, I try to get them to avoid packages and aim for whole foods. And avoid dairy and gluten!! They’re inflammatory. Period.

Okay, Friends. That’s all I’ve got for now. Love you, Support you, Fingers Crossed for you…

How do you use the bath soak?

    Ariele Myers - May 26, 2020 Reply

Hi! Remove the small vial of oil that comes with the soak, add about 1/3 of the bag of soak to hot bath water, add a few drops of the oil from the vial, and enjoy!

Is it possible for me to drink the tea though out the month… day and night? During period and ovulation and after…..Is there any side effect?

    Ariele Myers - June 4, 2020 Reply

Yes, that’s how it’s recommended to drink… 2-3 times a day for your entire cycle!

Benny - June 4, 2020 Reply

My period is frequent,do I still need to get this tea or a different one?

    Ariele Myers - June 4, 2020 Reply

It really depends on why it’s coming often, but I most commonly recommend the B*tch’s Brew tea to start, to see if it can lengthen your cycle.

My partner(36) and I (38) have been trying to conceive for the past 4 years.

GYN told me my ovarian reserve is depleting so it will be hard for me to conceive without reproductive medicine.

I hope your product can help us.

    Ariele Myers - June 15, 2020 Reply

I hope so! Did you look at the high FSH bundle? That would be a good start as well as incorporating womb massage on YouTube channel Ariele Myers. I also have blogs for Yin PHase you should look at.

I received the rest of my teas today! I am excited and hopeful that it will help my bf and I. Since I am currently on a probably month long period (i missed 3 months), I am thinking to start on the Brew instead of the Detox. *crossing fingers* that it will help soon.

    Ariele Myers - June 23, 2020 Reply

You could do the Detox for the whole month, but they’re really both good options so it’s up to you. You could also do 2 cups of the Brew and 1 cup of Detox per day.

Can I add honey to the womb warming tea? It has a bitter taste to me

Sharyl - July 6, 2020 Reply

Hello I received my fertile mama tea today. I already had my first cup on an empty stomach. I will have my second cup before bed. I’m so excited to see what’s gonna happen next for us

Veronica Flores - July 7, 2020 Reply

Very excited to try! I ordered The Detox Tea, Fertile Mama, and the Morning Rooster for my husband. We have been trying since November of 2019 for me to be blessed with a baby. He has had a check with his dr on his sperm, they said its slightly low but should not impact getting pregnant. I have had a ultra sound in my lady parts and my uterus looks great and young .. So Dr said if nothing happens in 3 months, we will look to next steps. I have been following WOTW on IG for a while now, and finally did an order. I was so impressed on HOW FAST the order came in. I had it in a week!

Today I had my first cup of the detox team, and pleasantly surprised on the taste! Happy for the qna, because it answered my question on how to tackle taking both teas.. Thank you for having that information. I will be drinking detox till my period, the switch to fertile once I am done with my period .

Thank you thank you <3

Thank you!! Good luck and please keep us posted. XOXO

I’ve been using the womb warming tea for a couple weeks now and my period is late. Is that normal?

    Ariele Myers - July 9, 2020 Reply

If you’re using just the Womb Warming Tea, it may be too much for you. Typically I like that one for post ovulation, but it can often be too hot if you’re doing that every day. So maybe switch to something like Detox or Fertile Mama and just do womb warming post ovulation. Did you have low progesterone? Wondering why you chose that tea?

    Ab - July 12, 2020 Reply

Thanks for getting back to me. So I started the womb warming tea after my period last month. I chose this tea Bc I’m always cold, Especially during my period!! I thought this may help. I’ll try the Fertile mama tea and discontinue this tea until post period.

Jazmine - July 12, 2020 Reply

I drank fertile mama tea 1 cup 2 times a day for 2 weeks,I made a doctors appointment to have my progesterone checked and I am fine now so I know the tea helped with that (thank you),so my question is do I keep drinking it to help with pregnancy or switch to another tea,btw I also have irregular periods and trouble ovulating which tea or teas will help with that….

    Ariele Myers - July 19, 2020 Reply

That’s fantastic!! I’d recommend doing Fertile Mama starting the day you stop bleeding, Fertile Moon to support ovulation around days 12-20 and then switch to B*tch’s Brew and drink that until you’re done bleeding

Irem - July 13, 2020 Reply

Hello madam, I want to use this tea plz guide me which tea is best for me. I am trying for baby to conceive. I have regular period. Plz help me to conceive.

    Ariele Myers - July 19, 2020 Reply

You can start with the Fertile Mama and if you don’t get cramps, take that the whole month. If you do get cramps, switch to B*tch’s Brew around 10 days before your period is due.

CB - July 18, 2020 Reply

I have sooo many question I’ve been trying to conceive for three years, my periods come when they want sometimes every 6 months maybe longer! I recently ordered the B*tch Brew tea , Fertile Moon Tea, an also the Fertile Mama tea.! Which do start with ?

    Ariele Myers - July 19, 2020 Reply

I’d start with the B*tch’s brew and also recommend womb massage, for which you’ll find a tutorial on YOuTube channel Ariele Myers. Once your period starts, you can do Fertile Mama after you’re done bleeding, Fertile Moon around Days 12-20 and then Switch back to B*tch’s Brew!

Ella - July 19, 2020 Reply

I’m 39, ttc for 2+years. I have a cold uterus, very low AMH, diminished ovarian reserve and normal FSH. My HSG showed some delayed filling implying I may have some scar tissues causing blockage.
My progesterone has always been low when checked on day 21 of my cycle with high baseline estrogen.
What tea will you recommend for me?

    Ariele Myers - July 19, 2020 Reply

I would actually recommend the 2 months supply of Fertility Teas. They’ll come with a Detox tea and then a tea for each phase of your cycle (plus a schedule so you’ll know how and when to drink)… it sounds like you have quite a few imbalances going on so support during each phase would be benecial. I’d also recommend you check out my womb massage tutorial on YouTube channel Ariele Myers and look into the womb healing oil blends plus castor oil

      Ella - July 19, 2020 Reply

Thanks for replying. Do I get the fertile wellness bundle or the fallopian tube bundle?

        Ariele Myers - July 22, 2020 Reply

I”d actually recommend the two months supply of teas as opposed to the Bundle.

          Ella - July 23, 2020 Reply

Will there be any interactions if I use it together with radiantwonder products? (Balance and super fertility 2 for premature ovarian failure program)

          Ariele Myers - August 10, 2020 Reply

I’m sorry, I’m not familiar with those products, but the herbs rarely have interactions with supplements so I believe they’ll be okay.

Jemeika Amos - July 20, 2020 Reply

Hi,I just recently order the mama fertility and moon fertility. I have regular periods, but still not able to get pregnant. Do I need to use both of them at the same time or one at a time, and if so which one do I start with

    Ariele Myers - July 22, 2020 Reply

HI. You can take the Fertile mama Tea first half of your cycle and then switch to Fertile Moon around ovulation, and take 2 cups a day.

Adrianna Ruggio - July 24, 2020 Reply

Does the tea help women who struggle with MTHFR?

    Ariele Myers - August 10, 2020 Reply

The Detox could be a good start with that, as well as the Fertile Mama TEa.

Brookelyn - July 24, 2020 Reply

Hi Ariele I ordered b*tchs brew a little late my cycle is in 2 days, but I do have fertile mama,is it ok to drink the entire month,I bleed heavy and I cramp horribly, and my periods always come after 28 days,I don’t ovulate,my progesterone is ok, I had the doctor check my lungs, thyroids, heart etc..and he said everything is fine but I am still not pregnant, and this is a little embarrassing to say I grow chin hair, wow that was embarrassing lol, which teas do you recommend, I want a baby badly please help.

    Ariele Myers - August 10, 2020 Reply

HI… Yes, you can drink the B*tch’s Brew the whole cycle. XO

Indigo - August 9, 2020 Reply

does the fertile mama tea have any side effects? I’ve been taking it for a month and I have diarrhea after I drink it.

    Ariele Myers - August 10, 2020 Reply

It can be detoxifying so if you have a lot of dampness in your system, it could potentially cause diarrhea but shouldn’t last for a long time. I’d look at your diet too and remove anything heavy like dairy.

Cheryl - August 13, 2020 Reply

Can I add honey to my tea

    Ariele Myers - August 15, 2020 Reply

Yes, but it’s not recommended as too much sugar isn’t ideal. But a little is okay.

I don’t have a bath tub, only a shower. Is the fertile moon soak safe to use as a yoni steam?

    Ariele Myers - September 2, 2020 Reply

You don’t want to use it as a Yoni Steam because of the salt, but you can use it as a scrub for your body. Add a bit of oil to it and it becomes a great scrub.

Latoya - September 5, 2020 Reply

Hi Ariele,I just want to say your teas are the bomb dot com,my periods have always been painful and I took everything you can think of to ease the pain and nothing and I mean nothing helped, I started drinking your teas and they helped soooooo much I don’t even know when my periods come now because I have no pain, I usually cramp, get headaches, back pain nipples sore nope not anymore and I owe it all to your teas thank you thank you thank you,now I do have irregular periods that comes after 28 days I have every tea except b*tch’brew do I need to order that to to help with making them regular again, because I am trying to have a baby also, thanks again and I am looking forward to hearing from you.

    Ariele Myers - September 15, 2020 Reply

Thanks Latoya!! So happy you’re noticing improvement, and this is a good indication that your womb is healing, which will in turn help you become more fertile. 28 days is actually a good cycle length, but if you’re saying it’s a few days after that, it’s okay — usually up to 32 days. The B*tch’s Brew would still be the most apprpriate and you can start doing Yoni Steaming and womb massage (which I have a tutorial for on YOuTube channel Ariele Myers) which can help bring it on sooner. XOXO

I recently ordered the Detox Tea and the Fertile Moon Tea. My question is can I take this with my Metformin and Clomid? I’m currently TTC? Also, how would I take each tea?

    Ariele Myers - September 15, 2020 Reply

Hi! the tea will come with instructions on when to drink, but you can do a cup of each per day, or start with the detox, 2 cups a day and then switch to Fertile Moon when done. And yes, you can take with those medications.

Hello, we have been trying for over a year after having an ectopic pregnancy. One of my ovaries ruptured and fallopian was removed. My doctor says I can still get pregnant with one ovary and Fallopian tube but after a year we have not been able to get pregnant. Will your fertility teas help? I’m also worried of having another ectopic.

    Ariele Myers - September 15, 2020 Reply

I’m so sorry for your loss and the subsequent trauma. I’d highly recommend doing some womb massage — I have a free tutorial on YouTube channel Ariele Myers. I’d use the womb healing oil. I’d also recommend Moxa (available on my site as well) to help with any scarring that could be causing blockage. I’d start with a cycle on the B*tch’s Brew, and then switching to Fertile Mama once you have no cramping with your period.

Saritza Bautista - September 21, 2020 Reply

Hello Ariele, I just received my Fibroids Bundle and would like to know when is is the best time to start the castor oil pack?
The tea I will start on the first day I bleed and the massage and bath soak right after I stop bleeding; please let me know if this is ok.

Thank you so mucho

    Ariele Myers - October 7, 2020 Reply

Hi Saritza. I hope you enjoy! You can do the castor oil pack anytime, just not when you’re bleeding. For fibroids, it’s best to give yourself a few months where you’re not trying to conceive so that you can do the pack post-ovulation.

Are the teas suppose to change your cycle?

    Ariele Myers - October 7, 2020 Reply

They can shift your cycle to be more regular, and they may change things a bit as your body is balancing and then adjust back.

I’ve purchased the detox tea, fertile mama and fertile moon, as well as the fertile mama bath soak.

I am almost done with my detox tea, still no period but I’ve ovulated! I’m confused now on how I should be drinking the other teas? Help!

    Ariele Myers - October 30, 2020 Reply

Great!! You can do Fertile Moon if you know you ovulated, and then once you bleed, switch to the Fertile Mama and then back to Fertile Moon around ovulation again.

      Moni - November 22, 2020 Reply

      Hi ariele!
I switched to fertile mama after my period, and now back to moon tea around ovulation. After ovulation can I switch back to the fertile mama until my next period?

I’ve been only taking the moon tea during my period and during ovulation time. I take the fertile mama tea right after my period and throughout the rest of my cycle?

        Ariele Myers - November 22, 2020 Reply

You schedule feels a bit complicated. I think you’d be fine simplifying it a bit by drinking Fertile Mama days 1-13 and then Fertile Moon for remainder of the cycle. XO
